I am common woman. Do not spend money by going to a parlour. But I always buy good products and do facial etc at home. But once I visited Keya Seth's Gariahat Spa for a demonstration and buying some make- up like Pan Stick , Pan Cake, Compact Powder, Aromatic Shine Loose Powder Gold, Cake Liner . Each and every product is very good. Still I use Keya Seth's make- up products and the beauty staff who gave me a demonstration. I really liked their products as well as staff quality.Rude and unfriendly staff with absolutely no customer care skills!!! I went for facial, threading and haircut. Facial was done very roughly! Everytime I had a question or concern, the staff either ignored me or responded with sarcastic remarks. And the hair salon has all-male staff, which means that female clients have no other option than to have their hair cut by male hairdressers. At the salon, they coerced me to take additional services, and under that pretext used questionable products in my hair which cost me extra time and money. Moreover, out of the 5 or 6 members of staff at the salon, only one was active and juggling between customers (which meant extra waiting time for each of us) while the rest of the staff members sat idle. The hairdresser kept commenting about flaws in my hair thickness, texture etc. I have travelled all over the world, and no hairdresser I had ever been to ever behaved this way with me before! The last straw came when the receptionist treated us with extreme rudeness and animosity, after we paid our fees. It cost us an arm and a leg, and yet this is the treatment we got from them! Even a much smaller and less costlier salon provides much better care and customer service. Stay away from Keya Seth spa at Gariahat!! All the so-called "positive" reviews here are most probably fake.
